The TLW Rules Empty
PostSubject: The TLW Rules   The TLW Rules EmptyThu Feb 14, 2013 2:14 am

If you are reading this that means you are interested in joining True Legit Wrestling. TLW is half WWE '13 gameplay and half online e-federation. In order to be accepted into TLW, you must first read through the rules in order to make sure you understand everything to avoid breaking any.

***************
TLW Match Rules
***************
- There is to be no cheating of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to) the use of batteries, turbo and/or modded controllers, and instantaneous tapout. Spamming is also considered to be considered cheating in TLW. Each superstar has 50+ moves, so there is a wide selection of moves to do. Spamming is defined as using a particular move more than 3 times in 10 moves. It is also defined that reversals do not count as moves. If you are caught cheating by any means, you will be suspended or kicked out of TLW.

- All matches must be finished by a finisher. If you perform a move (other than your finisher), pin, and it does not look like your opponent will kick out or it looks like he will tap, then break it up. It does not make sense that a match ends by a regular move.

- All matches will last 20 minutes max. (unless otherwise specified by Ted Prescott). During the first 15 minutes, the only way to win will be by pinfall. In the last 5 minutes, submissions may be attempted, but again, the match must end by a finisher. Attempt the pin first. All matches will have no count-outs.

- Milking a match is prohibited. By milking, we mean to spam taunts and do nothing for longer than 10 seconds. This is unacceptable and will result in being kicked out of TLW.

- There is a glitch in the WWE 13 live system where in singles matches each character will de-synch and end up in two separate matches. The only way to stop this from happening is to have someone act as a manager for one of the characters. You are NOT to do anything as the manager, you are here to observe and make sure the match goes off without a hitch.

Roleplay Rules
***************
-You are expected to write at least one roleplay a week. Feel free to do as many as you like but only one will be rated. You can still obtain bonus points by getting yourselves involved with other member’s posts as long as they end with an open invitation for responses. Don’t respond if they are only asking for specific responders. If you don’t want anyone to respond, be sure to not that the promo is closed to avoid confusion.

- Never brutally attack anyone without permission. If it doesn’t make sense, don’t do it! If you are going to use this to set up a storyline, that’s fine. But if you are attacking someone in every other promo you do you will be told to stop. Let’s keep this real, use your imagination to make yourself interesting. Attacks don’t happen in all the time on TV, try to emulate that.

- Not everyone can write a great promo and I know that. I don’t expect everyone to be able to write novels here. All I want is for you to take a chance on yourself and try to grow as a character. If you need advice Sport Sup3rstah is here to give you pointers and help you with whatever it is you need. Grammar isn’t everything, and length of promos aren’t everything either. Try to be as descriptive as possible. Always start in ring promos with a titan-tron at the top of the page. Make sure you edit the posts with colors, bold lettering or italics so its easy to know what is descriptions and what is dialogue. We understand that promos take time to get good at, we are here to help you any way we can so don’t be shy.

- In order to have a rematch for a title that you have lost you need to retain you're title at the first pay per view you defend it. For example if you win a Title at the pay per view you need to keep you're title in-till the next pay per view and retain it to be eligible for a rematch clause in the future. If lose you're title after winning it at the last pay per view then you do not get you're rematch clause.

General TLW Rules
*****************

- Shows are every Monday and Thursday. You are expected to complete both your Monday Moonlight and Friday Fear matches by Sunday Night at 12:00 est.

- Failure to complete your matches will result in a possible suspension, subtraction of points and/or being left off the next weeks card. If you continue to miss shows in a repetitive manner, you will be let go and you character will be freed up for future applicants. However, if you show effort in getting your match done and your opponent has not responded to your effort you may have a match against the computer and use it as a way to get the match done. Posting in the Match Scheduling forum is an easy way to let the mods know you are making an effort, use it to set a time and date that works best for both of you. Take into account that our members are from all over the world so you need to make use of time zone differences as well.

- PPVs cards are posted on Fridays and are to be done by Sunday night. Make sure you plan accordingly as failure to show up could end up with subtraction of twice the amount of points.

- Points are acquired from being active on the site and winning matches. A new system will be implemented in which your RP’s are reviewed by Sport Sup3rstah and given a specific amount of points based on effort and you will be given bonus points depending on how much you are improving and whether or not you are taking opportunities to create storylines for yourself and others. Promos involving multiple different characters will be rated at the end of the entire thread individually and all involved will receive bonus points. Points can be used in a number of ways, from using them to change your match to giving yourself a title opportunity whenever you see fit. So be active and you can move up the ladder quite quickly!

- In TLW you are not just required to do your matches every week, you are also expected to be active on the site. Post promos when possible, we know people have lives so if you can’t write a 10 page long interview that’s fine. Just do what you can, sometimes things can develop and you will never know unless you make an attempt to get to know your fellow members.

- You are expected to respect your fellow members. Any problems are to be taken to Sport Sup3rstah. I know that people like to joke around in the locker room and that’s fine, but if things get out of control you will be given a time out from the locker room for a certain amount of time. Let’s be civil and mature here. Any racial slurs, homophobic comments or any personal shots can be punished with anything from removal of points to being suspended from the site.

The number one rule in TLW is to have fun. The rules and regulations stated above are for nothing more than to make sure everyone here has a fair shot. Not everyone is great at all the things it takes to be a part of this place, but if you take the time to get better you can be a top star here. Everyone has a chance.
